      1. It takes a little while for people to find new pencil blogs but you’ll see—I’m sure you’ll have many visitors soon.

  1. Very cool pencil and sharpener! I’m totally jealous! Keep up the good work and keep the pics coming! Just found your blog via a facebook post from Pencil Revolution. Thanks for posting some great examples of what the pencils can sketch out! 🙂

  2. Great blog! I love reading about your pencils and seeing your drawings, thanks for taking the time to share. That Janus is a special sharpener, the only handheld I know of that produces a very long concave point to rival Carl’s rotary machines. Pretty sure I read about it on Lexikaliker. It is out of production for many years, is it not?

    1. Thank you very much. Yes the Janus is out of production since some very long time ago and yes you read about on Lexikaliker because that’s the place I read about it too. Unfortunatly the one is got is pretty much only for collecting and not really useable as the blade is very blunt. The Carl Bungo Ryodo is an amazing machine, which produces fantastic points, but as you say it is not a handheld. But I’ll keep an eye out for another Janus, or maybe try sharpening its blade, but that seems to reduce its effectivenes.
